Ocean Rover 40m Ice-Class Explorer

True Explorer yachts are built for serious ocean cruising, their rugged styling a reflection of their capabilities: built for long range (thousands of miles each way) and also for endurance so that once you have reached your remote oasis you may remain there for 4-6 weeks without the need for a quick trip to the corner store. They are independent and self-sufficient personal islands. Such is the case for our latest project, a 40m Ice Class "Ocean Rover" Explorer yacht. Onboard are all the comforts that you would expect in a world class yacht. Extensive use of glass creates an atmosphere that provides for ongoing interactions with the surrounding environment. The main salon and dining area incorporate large feature windows which slide open to bring the outdoors in. Fold-down glass bulwarks create balconies to port and starboard over the water providing an uninterrupted view of exotic land and seascapes. Guests can also take advantage of the comfortable foredeck seating area for further sea views.

The main aft deck is a highly flexible platform that can be configured to meet a host of different uses including extended cruising, remote exploration, scientific work, and worldwide charter operations in all hemispheres. The expansive tender area can accommodate a wide variety of support craft. Along with all of these options, the deck also accommodates a helicopter landing pad. When all the water craft are deployed the boat deck is transformed into a huge beach area with easy water access.

In addition to the multi-use main deck space there is an expansive flybridge dedicated to guest relaxation in all weather conditions. The lower deck features four spacious guest cabins with extra-large port lights to provide enhanced natural light and viewing. The design team is dedicated to making all aspects of operation efficient and "GREEN" by incorporating proven procedures and utilizing and developing cutting edge technologies. To this end, the OCEAN ROVER will incorporate extensive solar cells, shaft generators, and the new TESLA battery power supply system, thus enabling reduction of the generator sizes and enhanced operation of the vessel in a wide variety of operating parameters. And of course our advance hull technology for fuel efficiency and seakeeping.

Drettman Explorer Yacht 32m

Designed in cooperation with Focus Yacht Design, who provided styling and interior design, the new Drettmann Explorer line has been designed for those who not only appreciate cruising and urbane lifestyle at select ports, but also relish the adventurous aspects of sailing. With her classically compact exterior but extraordinarily spacious interior, this 'Tardis' of a yacht is ideal for skippers who wish to indulge their sporting inclinations to the full.

The striking appearance alone makes this vessel predestined for voyages of discovery on the high seas, a luxury base for diving sessions and jet-ski excursions. Accordingly, she offers ample room for tender and surfboards, diving equipment and water toys. The strong masculine silhouette, accentuated by sturdy side straps, underlines the distinctive look of the 27 to 45-metre yachts. But despite all their masculine charm, the wide range of interesting features means there is no need to forego comfort or luxury on board a DEY in any way.

A guaranteed highlight for guests is the large, pleasant dining and lounge area with built-in barbecue at the stern, which affords a fabulous view over the water. This yacht also boasts yet another fascinating first for the DEY class: a spacious beach club with a further bar, lounge area, sauna and steam bath, or optionally with gym zone.

Just a few steps further, three fold-down sundecks allow guests to enjoy the ultimate closeness to the sea. Alternatively, they can opt for the large, individually furnished sundeck at the bow and those whose ambitions are even higher can relax with a chilled drink at the bar on the partly covered sundeck up above. What's more, the teak-clad foredeck conceals a 5.5-metre long tender.

Despite this amazing versatility, a DEY also sets new standards in terms of functionality, such as strictly separate crew and guest areas, a light and open main saloon and an exclusive owner's area with office and separate dressing room to name just a few of many impressive examples. This 42M Explorer Motoryacht is a stylish new extension to our offshore ocean series.

Under development this year, our 42M hull form has taken on a whole new look as a motoryacht. Continuing with our super-fuel efficient hull technology, this vessel outperforms the competition with 30% fuel savings at optimum cruising speed. Powered by two 1000hp main engines, and with a 5000 mile range, we're making waves in the industry by not making waves under way! This level of performance lowers the carbon footprint of this yacht significantly; and the environmental impact can be reduced even further by careful material selection in the building stage. The interior is spacious and comfortable both for owners and crew. Let us know when you're ready to make this vessel your own!

Our newest vessel is designed to not only land a helicopter on deck but hangar it too!

It's not unusual to be able to land a helicopter on a 42M yacht. It is, however, more of a challenge to provide a below-decks hangar without folding the rotor blades and still have landing space for your buddy to drop by too. That was the design brief for this exceptional vessel, one which showcases a comfortable and spacious interior as well as providing it's owner with room for all his really cool toys. And as ever, we've continued to push performance boundaries, utilizing our fuel-efficient technology to provide increased space in the interior for far more than just additional fuel storage.
